Apple App Store editions

The synthesizer works locally. It does not include advertising, tracking, analytics, or an account sign-in. Patches, settings, and recordings stay in the app's local storage unless you choose to share them or use your device's backup services. Audio and MIDI processing happen on your device. The app does not send this material to RM Designs.

Apple handles App Store purchases and any Apple-operated diagnostics or backup services under Apple's privacy policies and your device settings.

Direct Mac and Windows purchases

The direct-download edition verifies its trial and licence locally. When you buy or request a licence, the checkout and licence-delivery service process your email, purchase information, and the machine identifiers you provide to create a machine-bound licence. Stripe processes payment details; the app does not receive your card number. Licence fulfilment uses our hosted backend and email service.

This website and support

The website is hosted on AWS. Hosting providers process network information such as your IP address when serving pages and downloads. The optional patching playground loads fonts from Google Fonts and saves its demo preferences locally. The main sales pages use system fonts. Clearing site data removes local preferences.

If you email support or submit a suggestion or trial-extension request, we receive the information you send and use it to respond. Do not include card details or passwords in a support request.

A trial-extension request uses your email address and Machine ID to verify your email and issue one seven-day extension. Our private AWS storage retains a record keyed by a hash of the Machine ID, including your email and the extension deadline, so repeat requests cannot restart the extension. Requesting an extension does not subscribe you to marketing emails. The service runs on Vercel and sends verification and licence messages through our email provider.

Optional website measurement

Measurement is off until you choose Allow. When enabled, the site sends only a fixed event category (page view, recording play, download click or checkout click), a fixed page or recording label, a broad mobile/desktop category, and a coarse traffic-source category (direct, search, social, referral or newsletter) to our Vercel service. We do not send full URLs, search terms, referrers, email, machine IDs, persistent visitor IDs or recordings of your activity. We store your choice in this browser, not an analytics identifier. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep measurement off. Change your choice using Measurement settings in the footer.

These aggregate events are kept in hosting logs for the provider's configured log-retention period, not a permanent visitor profile. The hosting provider still receives normal network metadata when serving requests. Counts are not unique visitors or app installations. Stripe payment records, rather than browser clicks, establish completed purchases. Trial-extension emails do not opt you into marketing.
