Bring WestCoastSynth into your music session.
Version 0.2.3 · macOS 11+ (Apple silicon + Intel) · Windows 10/11, 64-bit
Checksums: Mac SHA-256 · Windows SHA-256
Signed Windows plug-in. Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized Mac disk image. Automated plug-in checks have passed; we are still checking individual DAWs and devices. The standalone downloads are also included in your desktop licence.
Install on Mac
- Download and open the Mac disk image, then close your DAW.
- In Finder, choose Go → Go to Folder and enter
~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/. Create a VST3 folder there if needed. - Copy the entire WestCoastSynth.vst3 bundle into that VST3 folder, then eject the disk image.
Install on Windows
- Download and extract the Windows ZIP, then close your DAW.
- Copy the entire WestCoastSynth.vst3 folder into
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\. Windows may ask for administrator approval.
Open in Ableton Live
- Open Live. In Settings → Plug-Ins, turn on Use VST3 Plug-In System Folders, then select Rescan.
- In Live’s browser, choose Plug-Ins → VST3 → RM-Designs → WestCoastSynth, and load it on a MIDI track.
- Arm the track and send MIDI notes, or choose a self-playing factory patch.
Keep the plug-in bundle intact, including its Contents folder. Other VST3-compatible DAWs can load the same plug-in after a rescan. This is a VST3 instrument; Logic Pro requires Audio Units.
Try it free. Activate inside your DAW.
You can use, buy and activate WestCoastSynth with just the VST3 download. You do not need to install the standalone app.
Start with the full seven-day trial. A one-time seven-day extension is available through the trial-extension form.
- Open LICENCE in the plug-in and choose COPY ID.
- Purchase the desktop licence, then enter that Machine ID on the licence-key page after checkout.
- Paste the complete key into the plug-in’s LICENCE panel and choose ACTIVATE.
